Where: Charlestown Park, Pavilion 1. On Township Line Road behind the University of Valley Forge.
What:Picnic (bring your own meal or snack, we have charcoal grills at our disposal if you need them) Rocket Launch (we will have model rockets for the cubs to launch) and an Advancement Ceremony.
Who: The whole Pack. We also encourage you to bring a friend if they are curious about Cub Scouts. Be sure to wear your purple or blue Pack 73 T-shirt for the Picnic. The Picnic is the end of our School Year activities and the start of our Summertime Activities.

Camp Ware, Cub Scouts Camping Adventure. We had a blast! Made Dump Cake, hiked, did some skits, BB Guns, Pirate Ship playing and enjoyed playing in the cabin.
The Mayor came to visit our pack! We are so grateful for him to make the time to visit us. We learned that: 1. You must be 18 to run for mayor2. There are 16 parks in the Borough 3.we have Electric vehicle charging stations in our town.And we will be one of the first towns to turn waste into fuel!! The kids asked great questions, one of the best ones- What do you do all day? The answer- a simple life in the day of the mayor1. Check in with police 2. Go to lots of meetings about Phoenixville 3. Answer emails about questions about what people need help with-solve problems or figure out which part of government can help them solve the problem

Join Pack 73 for our annual weekend of scouting fun at Camp Ware’s Macaleer Lodge. This year, we will only be on the first floor of the lodge.

I. When should I arrive?
4th and 5th graders (Webelos, Arrow of Light, and maybe siblings) – 6pm on Friday night Feb 11.
We encourage Webelos/AOL only on that first night unless sibling obligations means that the Webelos/AOL Scout would have to miss out on the night/trip otherwise
1st, 2nd and 3rd graders – 11 am on Saturday Feb 12
II. What will we do?
BB guns – this activity is supervised by a trained instructor and a range safety officer. The scouts learn safety, rules and shooting skills while having fun. Note: we will only be shooting at targets, Boy Scouts of America does not permit any shooting at living things or representations of living things.

Skits, songs and more!
Dens will work on requirements throughout the event.
III. What should I bring?
sleeping bags and pillows (there are foam mattresses on the bunks).
toiletries
changes of clothes (pack extra layers)
Class A uniforms. (the Cub Scout shirt)
good waterproof shoes and raingear.
flashlight
money for Trading Post
cards or other small games for down time.
Extra food if you have dietary restrictions.
